Pins & Needles
Starting in 2008….
Pins & Needles combined creativity and innovation with artistry. The mission of the event was for six designers to showcase their clothing lines and compete for a $15,000 grand prize package. Over a dozen sponsors came together each year to help produce the event and cultural venue. Pins and Needles served as an opportunity to elevate the success of emerging designers in the area, and give them the tools and confidence to help build their careers. Past winners have competed in Project Runway, America’s Next Top Model, and shown collections at New York Fashion Week. Pins and Needles celebrated the diversity of these influences and supported collaboration between the arts through events that integrated live music, fine art, street art, performance art and dance.
