Excellence to meet exquisite with Hillary Romeo at the Barber's Battle

Every day I devote myself to providing this same standard of excellence to each client that sits in my chair every day,” Romero said.

She understands that every man’s lifestyle, needs and desires are different; which is why she makes sure to give each client a personalized service with excellence.

Driven by her passion for men’s styles, Hillary Romeo from Dapper Gents Grooming, decided to go out of her comfort zone and participate with excellence at the Gent!’s Barber Battle.

“The battle is definitely something out of my comfort zone but I am excited to get up there with some fellow barbers and show off this awesome craft of ours ,” Romeo said. She also gave a heads up on what to expect from her during the competition: “You can expect a demonstration of excellence (at the Barber Battle), which is what you will also see if you come to see me at my shop, Dapper Gents.”

The professional barber finds inspiration by staying up to date on urgent trends and achieving her clients’ desired look while giving them a personalized experience.

“I take pride in the work I do and create the ultimate look for each individual client,” Romeo  said.  “My inspirations are inspired by the look the client is wanting to achieve, the look that works best for them, and personalized for their individual needs,” she said.

She describes a gentleman’s style as “exquisite”.

In order for her to achieve an exquisite look, she helps her customers achieve their desires. “The attention to detail and the polished look a man can desire, varies in each individual and what meets their personal appearance,” she said.  “As an accomplished barber, I help them achieve this from a fade to a pompadour and everything in between. Then top it off with a straight razor shave or beard clean-up to finish this impeccable overall look.”
